“Ryan affirmed and inspired!  The learning took place for sure, but most didn't even realize it because the presentation was so fun, energetic and engaging.   Students and staff alike commented about how students who we would not have necessarily predicted were some of the first to volunteer to come to the microphone.  (We had preset a bunch of students to share their poetry, yet SO many others jumped at the chance!). We were inspired to continue this work as a school community, supporting one another and affirming everyone's stories, feelings, thoughts, etc.  We have been playing Happyvism every morning at school too!"
